Inspired by Christian von Koenigsegg Swedish entrepreneur and founder of Koenigsegg Automotive AB. Born in 1972, he created the company with a vision to build the ultimate performance hypercar, combining lightweight engineering with aerospace inspired design.
The CCGT1 is Koenigsegg’s 2026 tribute to the unraced CCGT GT1 racer. Powered by Koenigsegg’s 5.0L twin turbo V8, delivering 1285hp in track trim. Built for endurance racing with carbon monocoque chassis, adjustable rear wing, and FIA GT1 aerodynamics. Produced in limited 10-unit run, honoring the original 2007 CCGT concept that never raced. A true motorsport machine for the modern era.
